Experian MicroAnalytics has been named a 2018 Bronze Stevie Award Winner in the Company of the Year for Financial Services, Large category of The American Business Awards (ABA), also known as The Stevies. The Stevies are awarded to recognize businesses in more than 60 nations. Over two months, 3,700 nominations were reviewed in the judging process. The judging panel included more than 200 professionals.
The 2018 Bronze Stevie Award win represents the importance of Experian MicroAnalytics’ work helping people around the world. For over 8 years, Experian MicroAnalytics has been a leader in empowering emerging market individuals in Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East with access to mobile airtime, loans, insurance and more.
We are honored and proud to receive a Stevie Award. Created in 2002, the Awards were established to honor companies and working professionals around the world. Over 1,000 judges are comprised of industry executives, entrepreneurs and educators.
At Experian, we believe that all people deserve access to mobile airtime, loans, insurance and other financial products. Experian MicroAnalytics uses mobile data to create alternate financial identities in data-thin environments. Many emerging market individuals have prepaid mobile phones, requiring the user to visit a retail location to purchase more airtime. Experian MicroAnalytics has developed a convenient solution by extending mobile airtime right on users’ mobile devices, and when repaid in time, additional airtime and other financial services may be extended.
In emerging economies, digital financial solutions are safer and less prone to theft than other types of loans. Digital financial services are also more convenient in regions that lack traditional banks.
Experian MicroAnalytics’ 2018 Bronze Stevie Award was a result of our commitment to excellence and consumer empowerment for all people, regardless of income or geographical location.
